TIANA NEWMAN (She/Her) is an actress based in NY and has been involved in a number of theatrical performances. Her most recent credits include Velma Kelly (“Chicago” at Jack’s Productions), Heather Chandler (“Heathers” at Cultural Arts Playhouse), and Connie Wong (“A Chrous Line” at Cultural Arts Playhouse). Her most recent mainstage credit is Shonelle (School of Rock, Cultural Arts Playhouse Mainstage). She is very excited to be a part of this amazing project!

FERN WALLENBERG (He/Him) is an actor based in Ontario, Canada. He is currently a drama major in the Claude Watson Arts program at EHSS. His most recent past roles include Spongebob (Spongebob the Musical at Bravo Academy), Nick Bottom (Something Rotten at Bravo Academy), and Robert Martin (The Drowsy Chaperone at Bravo Academy), among many others. He is super excited to be a part of this workshop! 

SYDNEY CLEMENTS (She/Her) is thrilled to be joining the cast of the Long Story Short workshop! This is a type project she’s never done before, and she’s very excited to give it a try! Sydney has most recently been seen onstage as Miss Jennifer Honey in Matilda the Musical and is looking forward to portraying the role of Melanie! 

DANTE (They/She/He) has been involved in theatre for over a decade and has been fortunate enough to have performed in multiple school and community theatre productions. They have had training at the National Theatre and NIDA, two prestigious performing arts schools, and have done multiple concerts, musicals, and plays. Previous roles of theirs include Charlie in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Cheshire Cat in Dark Wonderland. The Voice of Audrey II in Little Shop of Horrors, and more.

TAYE (Any Pronouns) is a new actor who has previously been in Legally Blonde Jr as Warner Huntington III, as well has having done stage crew for two productions. Despite being fairly new to theatre they are eager to take on this new challenge! 

PRESLEE TAYLOR (He/Him) is an actor based in TX. He is in his second year of theatre and is honored and super excited to take part in this amazing project! He has most recently been seen onstage as Lefou in Beauty And The Beast and was recently cast as Ren in Footloose. He is very excited to see what comes of this show!

DANTE (They/She/He) has written multiple musicals and is ecstatic to have the opportunity to workshop one of their musicals for the first time. This will be their third time directing a full production, and they could not be more thrilled to get back into this position. They are also playing William in the workshop production and are very excited to take a deeply involved approach in the first ever production their musical!

JONAS J. (He/Him) is a German composer and arranger who has been involved in multiple orchestras and bands as an arranger and pianist. During the 2023 school competition of theatre (SDL 23), Jonas accompanied the German/French Combination as a pianist. He's very excited to join his first musical theatre project as arranger and orchestrator.
